SACC Sponsored 24 Hour Cycle 2026

We are currently inviting people to take part in our award winning 24 hour cycle event for 2026 raising money for free cricket camps and junior cricket at Sarisbury Athletic Cricket Club in partnership with our junior sponsor IDPE & Sport.

There will be three teams again this year - IDPE, our players consistent with the inception of the event in 2023 and the addition of the parents bike first introduced last year.

Given the timing of the cycle that coincides with the 6 nations championship, and as our club leader for the cycle needs something else to focus on as Wales will not be in the hunt, we will be cycling from Twickenham Stadium to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome as we are scheduled to finish during the Italy v England fixture on 7th March.

The clubs elected captains will be contacting players to fill the 24 slots on the players bike and we have parent volunteers doing the same for the parents bike. We expect Dave, Martyn and Liam to get the strong arm tactics or bribes in place for the ID bike also as usual.
